Résumé

The aim of study to find out the level of the habits of the mind and their relationship to achievement and creative intelligence among students of the fifth grade scientific (biological) in the subject of chemistry. The descriptive method (the relational method) was used to suit the objectives of the research. 40 student, chosen randomly, three research tools were prepared, namely, the Habits of Mind Scale composed of (28) items, and an achievement test consisting of (20) items of the type of objective questions (multiple choice) as well as a test on creative intelligence that was composed of ( 18) paragraph, verifying the validity and reliability of the research tools, was applied to the research tools on the core sample in the first semester of the year 2020-2021. The results were shown using the Pearson correlation coefficient and the T-test for one sample for:

1- The existence of statistically significant differences between the average of students ’scores and the hypothetical average in the habits of mind test, in favor of the hypothetical average, which gave an indication of the weak students’ possession of habits of mind.

2- The existence of statistically significant differences between the average grades of students and the hypothetical average in the achievement test, in favor of the average score of students, and the results indicated the good achievement of the students.

3- The existence of statistically significant differences between the average score of students and the hypothetical average in the creative intelligence test, and in favor of the average scores of students on the test, which gives an indication of students' possession of creative intelligence.

4- There is a strong positive correlation between the habits of the mind, academic achievement and creative mathematical intelligence among the scientific (biological) fifth-grade students.

In light of the results and conclusions, the researcher recommended a set of recommendations and proposals.
