The development of the academic process leading to the achievement of the professional degree or the diploma as master or doctor has many edges that allow accreditation and thus the mastery of skills and abilities in the new scenario; however, concerns about research and dissemination are very relative academic exercises and almost null when it comes to the process of dissemination of results. Precisely, in the scenario of research practices at the Universidad Nacional Pedro Ruiz Gallo (Lambayeque-Peru), research does not have visibility mechanisms with the purpose of guaranteeing proximity to new knowledge because there is a relative conceptual perception between thesis, thesis report, academic dissertation and the nature of the scientific paper. The bibliographic study intends to propose the scientific paper as an optional graduation requirement in undergraduate and graduate studies, in order to make research results visible considering the attributes of the scientific paper format. This investigative and research process values the origin of the scientific paper as a means of dissemination of great current, universal theories and, at the same time, the research methodology proposed by Koch and Pasteur is recorded. Two contributions that gave meaning to the methodological corpus based on the importance of the introduction, methodology, results and discussion (IMRAD), which to this day serves as a platform for any research exercise in general and demonstrates the capacity of empowerment of this by means of dissemination through scientific journals.
