Résumé

The development of this research work is related to determine the seismic performance and the state of damage through the fragility curves of reinforced concrete frame buildings, currently with the design methods considered in the standards it is difficult to predict their structural behavior against seismic loads, nor can we know what state of damage these structures may have, in this research the problem is stated as follows: What is the level of seismic performance and state of damage in buildings under the reinforced concrete frame system Lima 2020? The general objective is: To determine the state of damage and seismic performance of reinforced concrete frame buildings, by means of fragility curves, which are contemplated in standards such as: FEMA 356, ATC 40, and VISION 2000, where the seismic performance and the state of damage in structures of the reinforced concrete frame system are made known after this analysis compare with what is established in the Peruvian standard of Seismic Resistant Design - E.030 in force. As a result of this research, the performance levels: operational and life safety comply with the current seismic-resistant standard, with 0.002 and 0.003; on the other hand, the performance levels: near collapse and collapse do not comply with the seismic-resistant standard, having a distortion function of 0.0065-0.0074 and 0.0075-0.0120 respectively.
