When the pandemic epidemic progresses, a significant number of workers no longer work; in a country like India, employability becomes a very serious problem. In an uncertain economic scenario, the business world faces the challenge of survival. This issue has arisen with new business avenues and needs a shift in the attitude of doing business and work. Globally, businesses hire gig workers as freelancers under flexible arrangements; operating on clear rapports and conditions for a solo obligation only. The present study examined the opportunities and drawbacks for workers and employers and the resulting effect on their interaction of such opportunities and challenges is analyzed through an established existing literature of India's increasing gig economy.
