The study is an attempt to investigate the effect of using applied rhetoric synopses in the achievement of fifth-literary students and their attitudes towards the subject of rhetoric. The study uses the experimental method with partial control for the two sample groups of the study. The sample consist of (82) students. The two groups were matched through the marks obtained in the final exam of Arabic language for the academic year 2017-2018. The behavioral objectives and teaching plans were set the material of rhetoric to be taught were set. The study constructed a test and a scale to measure the attitudes of the students toward the subject. The findings of the study reveal that results were in favor of the experimental group who were taught the subject through the use of synopsis.
