Criminal Protection for Females in Crime of Sexual Intercourse by Seducing by Promise of Marriage

This research studies the criminal protection of adult females, by the Iraqi legislator, when seduced into intercourse after with the promise of marriage. The Iraqi criminal law has singled out these texts to make this protection adequate and to preserve her honor and honor from assault. Despite the care and attention given by the Iraqi legislator to the female in this crime, an effective criminal policy must be drawn up, by finding criminal texts that are more harmonious. In addition, this protection should be more effective by bridging the legal gaps in the procedural and objective criminal texts of this crime, and this is what this research will address through a critical analytical study of these legal texts, jurisprudential opinions and judicial decisions. It then suggests the best ways to enhance this protection.
