This study aims at utilizing debate in order to develop the speaking and lateral thinking skills of the female students of the department of kindergarten at the College of Basic Education, University of Kufa. The research is conducted as a case study on the college campus in the academic year of 2019-2020. The study concludes that the usage of debate has helped to build visual thinking skills in the realm of early reading. The use of visual thinking abilities in compliance with argument standards has helped the speaker study, evaluate and write.
