Flipbook: The Effectiveness of Scientific Writing in the Digital Era for Students

Résumé

This study aims to identify the effectiveness of using flipbook media in learning scientific writing in the Digital Age for students of the Indonesian language study program at the University of Muhammadiyah Jakarta. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The data used in this research is in the form of a questionnaire which contains statements about teaching materials, scientific writing, and flipbooks. The data source of this research is a source of written data from a questionnaire or student questionnaire at the Muhammadiyah University of Jakarta, in January 2021, with a total of 30 student questionnaires, and consisting of 60 pages. This research was conducted at the University of Muhammadiyah Jakarta, Indonesian Language Education Undergraduate Study Program. Based on the results of observations, the researcher found that there was an influence on the use of flipbooks for learning scientific writing in the Digital Age for students. This influence results in convenience for students. There is convenience, students can learn scientific writing effectively. That way, students can understand scientific writing learning more critically and are helped by the features contained in the flipbook media to avoid boredom in understanding scientific writing learning materials.
