Résumé

Purpose: This Research aims to anlayze the influence of shifting product-platform and business strategy toward business performance of micro small medium enterprises in the Province of Bangka Belitung Islands in Industry 4.0 Era.


Research Method: Samples in this research are 100 owners of micro small medium enterprises in the Province of Bangka Belitung Islands. Verificative analysing tool used is Structural Equation Model (SEM) by using LISREL 8.5 program.


Result Findings: The results show that (a) the influence of shifting product-platform toward business strategy of micro small and medium enterprises in Industry 4.0 is positive and significant. (b) The influence of shifting product-platform toward business performance of micro small and medium enterprises in Industry 4.0 is positive and significant. (c) The influence of business strategy toward business performance of micro small and medium enterprises in Industry 4.0 is positive and significant. (d) There is a simultant and significant influence of shifting product-platform and business strategy toward business performance of micro small medium enterprises in the Province of Bangka Belitung Islands in Industry 4.0.


Implications: Business strategy has a more important role to improve business performance of micro small medium enterprises so the strategies should be applied continuously.


Originiality of Research : This research uses new variables aligned with Industry 4.0.
